Christmas markets are very popular all over Europe and hearken back to another time
Christmas Shopping,
Old World Style

Every year, just a few short hours after the last bit of Thanksgiving turkey and dressing is stored away in the fridge, throngs of rabid consumers flock to the malls to kick off the annual Christmas shopping season (and each other for that truly special gift).

In the midst of all the capitalist chaos, whether your version of Santa goes to Wal-Mart, Neiman Marcus or even online, let's take a step back for a moment and look at something that truly embodies what many envision Christmas should be like...

For one night, all was quiet on the western front...
World War I was one of the most destructive and, in terms of human lives lost, costliest wars in history. However, in the midst of all the death and carnage, soldiers from opposing sides found a way to celebrate Christmas together in the trenches. On December 24, 1914, German and British soldiers near Ypres, Belgium got together after the Brits heard the Germans singing "Stille Nacht" (Silent Night) across "No Man's Land".  They lay down their arms, albeit temporarily, exchanged gifts and drank together.

Lately there's been much ado about the use of the words "Merry Christmas". It may be politically correct to say "Happy Winter Holiday", but it's not as much fun. We think it's all a bit crazy, and instead encourage everyone to say "Merry Christmas" in as many languages as possible! Whatever you have planned this holiday season, we wish everyone peace, health, love and happiness! By the way, all of these audio files were created by our very own foreign language voiceover talents. :-)

We have some employees that do not speak English. We have documents that need to be translated into their language and they are telling us they speak Cambodian.

Can you translate English > Cambodian?
